Guided Deer Hunts

We are very excited to send you this information on our Deer hunts.

We have owned and guided this area now for over 25 years. This mountain country is absolutely spectacular. We are Grandfathered into being able to guide in both the Gros Ventres and Bridger Wilderness Areas. As our bucks migrated down from the high country, after the close of season, I saw many large bucks.

We are very serious about hunting and work hard to give you a top quality hunt. We have a very good reputation as we can have you verify through many different references. We have always had a very high repeat clientele average and we have many hunters who have hunted with us for many years.

Everything is pointing towards a banner season for 2008. We do sell out on these hunts so get in touch soon.

With the preference point system that came into play in 2006 I will be looking for several hunters who want to start applying for one of our prime areas which has been difficult to draw. (We haven't hunted this area for several years.) By getting in on the ground floor of the point system, we believe the worst case scenario would be 4 years to draw. Call to discuss this option.

We expect about a 90% success in the draw for our main camps in the 2009 drawing.

Deer hunts are usually based from one of our wilderness camps, however we can also base from our Historic DC Bar Guest Ranch. From our camps, we ride to and from the hunting area by horseback. You'll find this to be a classic western style hunt.
