Guided Moose Hunts

Thank you for the inquiry into our Moose Hunts. We have always been 100% on our Moose hunts. We are in one of the very best areas in the country for the Shiras Moose. We are very serious about hunting and work hard to give you a top quality hunt.

If you are familiar with the Boone & Crocket Club, you'll find that a great number of entries, about 86, come from our Sublette Co. area. In fact the World Record Shiras comes from this area. We have hunters who have made the Record book.

Our ranch sits right in the middle of the best moose country in Sublette Co. A few winters ago we had 15 Moose in our hay stack, 13 of which were bulls. (We now have a hay barn.)

We like to hunt from our remote wall tent camp by horseback, however hunts from our Historic DC Bar Guest Ranch are also possible.

We get booked pretty early each year for our moose hunts so call right away if you have an interest.

One spring morning we had 14 moose in the front yard- most were bulls.

Wyoming Game and Fish does have a preference point system on our Moose license drawing. You can apply for the Moose license or you can elect to just purchase a preference point. A total of 6 points or more drew at 100% in 2005. We will help you get your permit.

Quick Note; As you may know, many areas in the state are loosing their moose populations due to the wolf problem. Some areas as high as an 80% loss. Please be assured that our area is still in good shape
