Wilderness Guide School

The Outfitter and Guide School Apprenticeship program is a 4 week training designed to give you both a wonderful adventure and a uniqueopportunity to learn some great outdoor wilderness skills. You should have some outdoor experience prior to applying. You will be living outdoors most of your time here and prior experience living outdoors is very important. You should be used to hard work. You will come up against many different types of adversity and you will need to figure out how to best resolve each one. You should be a self disciplined self starting type of person. A lot of responsibility will be placed upon your shoulders and we will count on you to handle your share.  We offer curriculum that will allow you to learn all you should need to know to start guiding.
