DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

FROM;

Jackson Hole, Wyoming: 77 miles

Driving time; approx. 1 1/2 hours

Take Wyoming Hwy. 191 south out of Jackson, following the Snake River. Be sure to stay to the left at Hoback Junction where you will now be following up the Hoback River. Wyoming Hwy. 191 climbs up and crests what is known as the "Rim" (the drainage divide between the Colorado River drainage and the Columbia River drainage) after a passing lane about 2 miles long. You will then start a long gradual downhill and will now see the Wind River Mountain range way off to your left. When you cross the Green River, watch your odometer and at about 3 miles you will see a paved road turning off to the left. This should be Sublette County road  23-149,  also known as Forty Rod Road. Turn left on this road and follow it until it dead ends into Wyo Hwy. 352. Turn left onto Hwy. 352, you will now be heading north again. Watch the mile markers and when you see mile mark 19, slow down and take the first left. You will see two signs at our turn off, one for the Black Butte Ranch and one for our DC Bar Guest Ranch. This is a 5.8 mile long dirt road that takes dead ends into our ranch complex. Everywhere that you could possibly take a wrong turn, we have a road sign pointing the correct route.

Salt Lake City, Utah; 300 miles

Driving time; approx. 5 hours

Take Interstate 80 out of Salt Lake through Evanston, Wyoming. About 18 miles out of Evanston, find Wyoming Hwy. 189 and take this heading north. You will pass through Kemmerer, La Barge, Big Piney and Daniel Wyoming. About a mile past Daniel you will find the Intersection with Wyoming Hwy. 191. Turn to the right here and follow 191 for about 6 miles where you will find Wyoming Hwy.

Denver, Colorado; 475 miles

Driving time; approx. 8 hours

Take Interstate 25 north out of Denver. I prefer to take Hwy. 287 from Ft Collins to Laramie, where I then take Interstate 80 west through Rawlins and into Rock Springs. As you come into Rock Springs watch for Hwy. 191 (also called Elk Ave.), take this exit. Follow 191 north through Eden, Farson, Boulder and Pinedale. Just 5 miles past Pinedale find Hwy. 352 turning off to your right. Turn right onto Hwy.
